Our Story
Created out of a deep desire to see others feel more at home and in tune with their bodies and minds, Holistic Harmony Therapeutics was formed to help other humans rediscover harmony within. So often in this crazy world, people can be pulled in many directions with so much information barrelling at them, promoting all the proper ways to find healing that often leads to more confusion, overcomplication, and sometimes guilt for not being able to keep up with the ever-changing demands. With this overflowing wealth of advice on being "the best human", it can be easy to forget about some of the more basic elements our bodies and minds may need. Holistic Harmony likes to consider one of these basics, Harmonious Connection.

Here, Harmonious Connection is viewed as living in tandem with your physical, mental, and emotional needs as well as forming and maintaining relationships with others that create a sense of peace and balance for you. In today's high-speed world, Caitlin recognizes that people are not always given the space they deserve to form these types of connections. Because of this, she wants to help provide a haven where you can be seen, heard, and valued through a therapeutic connection and work to become more in sync with your needs, whatever they may be. Sometimes the simplest answer is the most natural one and Caitlin hopes to be a reminder of that with her Holistic Approach to finding Harmony in your life.

In the world of music, rhythm and melody are the main components of music but harmony is the soul of music. Similarly, in therapy, theory and techniques are the main components but harmony is the soul of therapy. And how we find harmony is unique to each of us. Below are some of the components you will find embodied at Holistic Harmony that create the unique soul of therapy here.

Hearing where you come from, how you got here, where you would like to go, and all the details in between, deserve to be heard and listened to. We want to hear your story and what makes you YOU.

Self-Compassion
SELF-COMPASSION
Discovering, maintaining, or growing compassion for yourself is not always an easy endeavor. Learning to lend yourself grace in moments of self-doubt or criticism is something that can be learned during therapy.

Mindfulness
MINDFULNESS
Staying present can be difficult at times. By acknowledging and accepting yourself, your thoughts, your emotions, and your body, you may begin to rediscover your harmony within. This acknowledgment and acceptance can come through breathing, meditation, grounding, or simply taking a minute to identify what is happening for you at that moment.

Self-Forgiveness
SELF-FORGIVENESS
We are human, therefore, we are not always perfect. Making missteps or just wishing we would have handled a situation, or ourselves, differently is part of human nature. Accepting ourselves and viewing who we are in a positive light despite moments we may not be proud of is at the root of Self-Forgiveness and a key part of demonstrating Self-Love.

Listening to your story is not enough. Having someone present to truly witness how deeply you are experiencing something can be powerful.Observing the pain, the growth, the ephiphanies, and everything in between is an honor we do not take lightly here.
Leaning In

LEANING IN
Discomfort can be an unwanted but necessary part of growth. Having someone there to gently push you to lean into deep feelings, new patterns, or difficult changes can be a comfort. We don't ask you to lean in alone either. We dive with you in those moments and help navigate whatever comes up to help achieve inner harmony.
Sitting With

SITTING WITH
Moving through life can be a roller coaster. There can be gut-renching lows and exuberant highs. Whatever types of tears may fall, we are here to catch them for you. By sitting with you in all of life's moments, we can find harmony together.
Breathing In

BREATHING IN
Slow down, take a breath. You will likely do some hard mental work in therapy and need to take moments to breathe in all the growth you are going through. Refreshing your body with deep, meaningful breaths helps soothe your soul in therapy work.
